Maybe read up on the Iran Hostage Crisis of 1979, and their release in 1981 because of the deal Iran made with the Reagan campaign and come on back here and tell us about it.

Hell what many of the ones in this predicament right now voted for. I remember the interviews 5 years ago of people basically saying we’re not immigrants, we’re Brits.

I agree completely, but I was responding to why our police violence hadn’t already destroyed the country.
I live very close to one of the most corrupt PDs in the country. Propublica has done articles level corrupt. But people shrug and say wow that sucks, glad it’s not where I live.

People say they want a business man to run the country, but the current regime C-Suite would be fired within months at a real company. Spending shit tons of money with no actual business plan, no actual risk analysis, no actual profit/loss analysis?
Do people even understand how a business runs?

Police violence is different than Federal Government violence. Police violence can be explained away and appears local due to its whack a mole existence in the media. But Federal violence is not local, it’s ordered, and they can’t say it’s a few bad apples.

We use Apple Music. Give it a feed song and it just goes. If I don’t like the song I tell her to skip it. Lots of new stuff gets looped in too.
Spotify is like Chik-Fil-a to me. I don’t get the hype and the money goes to evil.
