Welp, the Ali Express full carbon adventure fork finally arrived last week. Prepped it at the shop, brought it home, and installed it tonight.

Kinda funny that I had messaged my parents today about how it’s a good thing I’m in no hurry for a new copy of my state ID cause although I did the paperwork etc in early November it hasn’t arrived.
It was in my mailbox when I got home. Ha!

When I emptied my pockets at the end of the day discovered the grocery stop list I’d forgotten to use. Conveniently I actually got everything on the list with the exception of two items that I remembered I definitely didn’t need as soon as I had written them down. Whoa. #WTF

It’s that time of year for bicycle commuters, or just cold weather riders in general, to remember that cold temps affect the air pressure in your tires. I tend to over inflate them, or even better, set the bike outside for a bit then check their PSI before the commute starts.

I got several blocks into the pedal commute home this evening when I wondered if the temp had dropped since this mornings commute.
Then I realized my coat wasn’t even zipped up. Fixed that problem.
Even had to unzip it a bit during the last climb to home.

Judging by the number of angry or frustrated SM posts I’ve seen today about the snowy streets in #KansasCity I’m gonna guess, well assume, that I’m possibly the only one that rode a bicycle to work today. Perhaps?

Not planning to use the #fatbike for tomorrow’s #biketoworkKC but with the snow plus the poor plowing & removal that KC typically does it may be a good idea. Granted I did pedal commute to work 4 winters in Des Moines, Iowa without a fat bike & have no HOA Bridge to cross anymore so…

Holy cow! First snow in KC & the el’ cheap-o full carbon adventure fork I ordered from AliExpress the first of November arrived at work. Via their provided tracking number it hasn’t left the shippers warehouse yet. Not bad for this edition of #MondaysOff

The pedal commute home was quite a bit cooler, not to mention significantly windier, than the pedal commute to work. There wasn’t any rain tho which is marginally a plus. #ridetoworkridehome
