Speaking of timing: @eff.org just launched #EncryptItAlready calling for E2EE DMs.

We know "Grooming Prevention" is the main excuse to delay encryption.
ZEKNOP #SafeCircles removes it.
Prevent contact at the protocol level (Topology), so you don't have to scan content.

Safety by Design. 🧩

💯 Agree. Defense is not enough.

That's why we are pushing #ZEKNOP as an open standard directly to regulators in the EU (LIBE) and Australia.

"Safety" does not require "Surveillance".
If a privacy-preserving technical alternative exists, intrusive laws become much harder to justify.

Verified adults cannot contact kids unless authorized.

Safety by design, not surveillance. 🧩

Let's encrypt everything.

Huge support for #EncryptItAlready!

The main blocker for E2EE DMs isn't tech, it's "Safety Compliance" (Grooming prevention).

#ZEKNOP #SafeCircles solves this.
Instead of scanning messages (breaking privacy), we verify the relationship.

Allow me to introduce @zeknop.org

It’s an open protocol I’ve been working on.
No vendor lock-in. Public domain.
It uses Zero-Knowledge proofs to solve exactly this problem.

It verifies you are 15+ without the platform ever seeing your ID or birthdate.

We are building the open protocol for Safe Spaces - allowing age verification and bot protection using Zero-Knowledge Proofs, without ever exposing user data or breaking encryption.

Privacy by Design.
GDPR by Code.
Open Source.
