Last year, the Yankees' season ended in the World Series.

This year, it ends in the ALDS.

That actually was a GREAT attempt from DeWanna Bonner.

A’JA. THAT IS A TOUGH ASS SHOT.

This does NOT look good. Satou is incredibly tough and she could barely stand.

God, I hate injuries.

PHX needs more CONSISTENT energy/execution.

They go through amazing offensive & defensive spurts, forcing shot clock violations for Vegas and getting into the paint on offense…

But then have complete mental slips—taking two in transition defense or forcing early shots or passes on offense. #WNBA

Warriors starters tonight vs Blazers

Steph Curry
Moses Moody
Jimmy Butler
Draymond Green
Al Horford

Vegas’ is driving and spraying for 3s with as much ease as Phoenix is scoring off fast break opportunities and Vegas turnovers.

Only problem for PHX is 3s are worth more 😅

Wow, what an opening for us fans of the chess match. Vegas come out in a box-and-1 out of nowhere, after playing no zone at all in Game 2; Phoenix come out switching AT all the way over from Wilson to Gray. Big changes, surprising gambles. #WNBA

This level of versatility is just absurd. That's the league leader in blocks 5 years running playing point of attack defense to close a quarter on a perennial MVP candidate.

A'ja does everything.

FINALLY watching the WNBA Finals game live tonight.

Looking forward to seeing how Phoenix holds down home court.

What are you guys looking out for tonight?

How the hell did Trevor Lawrence just do that?

He fell…TWICE!

…IF they extend the deadline past October 31, how delayed will the window be.

In 2020, it started on Jan 28 and they couldn’t sign until Feb 10 because of the CBA negotiations pushing past the deadline.

I only wonder because there are SO many free agents this offseason in comparison.
zenakeita.bsky.social
Great question. With the current CBA not yet expired, teams have to follow its current established rules, which say that teams can start talking to free agents in mid Jan, but the agents can’t sign until February. GMs can also begin building trades in that time.

What will be interesting is…
orlandohoosier.bsky.social
@zenakeita.bsky.social I know there's a lot up in the air with the CBA but if teams wanted to start talking with players and working up trades when can they start doing that?

How can you not love the fight in Indiana?
zenakeita.bsky.social
Aliyah looked like she was crying. Aerial Powers head dropped.

This is terrible blow for Indiana. Hate this for them.

Update: Al Horford has a second-year player option in his two-year, $12 million deal with the Golden State Warriors, league sources told @hoopshypeofficial.bsky.social. Horford is expected to start at center and is eager to compete for another championship. Deal negotiated by agent Jason Glushon.

The WNBPA has issued a statement re: Napheesa Collier's comments.

"The leaders of the league and its teams would benefit from listening to her powerful statement. The players know their value even if the league does not."
zenakeita.bsky.social
But did she lie, Cathy? Did she lie?

THAT is the real question this statement should have addressed.
