And since the story beats of Undertale play out the same way in Deltarune, maybe Dess is supposed to take the place of the Amalgamates, trapped in the "True Lab" waiting for us to find her and show us the truth of the Light World, and of our own reality.

With the Normal Route, it was supposed to be Kris as the Knight, Noelle as the Girl, and Ralsei as the Prince.
What does a knight do? It slays the Dragon to save the girl.
If Susie is the Dragon and takes the place of the girl in the prophecy, what happens then?
