Interesting read. Thanks for sharing

I kind of like Oasis. Not saying your take isn’t accurate though

No- we really don’t. He was murdered and I disapprove of murder. I also recognize that someone did something that in the end was done with the intent of the public good and may actually lead to the public good. I can recognize both facets at the same time
December 12, 2024 at 7:31 PM
But that really isn’t what your posts are addressing
December 12, 2024 at 7:22 PM
I do.
December 12, 2024 at 7:21 PM
Sorry- that’s rough
December 12, 2024 at 6:45 PM
Your moral view point seems to entirely hinge on the legality or state sponsored or sanction of a given act. If it’s legal it’s moral and if it’s illegal it’s immoral. Is this your viewpoint?
December 12, 2024 at 6:43 PM
John Brown: what’s your viewpoint of him? Curious because your POV appears wildly rigid I’m certain illogical in a shifted context. I predict it won’t logically hold up in other contexts
December 12, 2024 at 6:39 PM
Your arguments lack zero nuance or complexity. You sound like an 8 year old clothed in self-righteous indignation. Simpleton that doesn’t understand moral relativism or other viewpoints
December 12, 2024 at 6:32 PM
For example- a woman that is raped may be killed by her partner or family member by dishonoring the family name - that’s an example of an “honor killing”- it has no connection to anything your’e hopelessly trying to argue. Dunning Kruger at work
December 12, 2024 at 6:28 PM
Again that is not what an honor killing is. An honor killing is a “shame killing” almost exclusively based in a religious and misogynistic culture. It has zero to do with being honorable
December 12, 2024 at 6:25 PM
I don’t. What he’s going to be accused of is murder. That’s it- nobody calls it “extra judicial killing” - or “killing outside the rule of law.”

Again you’re weirdly trying to peddle some weird counter-narrative. You mainly just sound like a self-righteous blowhard
December 12, 2024 at 4:56 PM
That isn’t what an honor killing” is though. It has an actual meaning and you clearly don’t know it. You think because it uses the word “honor” in it that it means something different than it does. Your use of phrases in all your posts show you misunderstand a lot of words & phrases
December 12, 2024 at 4:49 PM
Understood- the /s doesn’t apply well to my comment looking back on it.
December 12, 2024 at 4:45 PM
That a Boston?
December 12, 2024 at 4:00 PM
“Honor killings?” You’re using words and phrases with no application- do you even no what an “Honor killing” is? I don’t think you do
December 12, 2024 at 3:58 PM
Why do you keep referencing - judge and jury and what form of govt we have? He allegedly killed a CEO- why the special language and argument about “extra judicial killings” and “authoritarianism?” Feels like you’re trying too hard to justify your position
December 12, 2024 at 3:55 PM
No using the /s on here?
December 12, 2024 at 3:52 PM
Yeah - like OJ Simpson. I’m sure it’s going to be decided on the evidence.

/s
December 12, 2024 at 1:00 PM
Again- he isn’t a govt actor. Furthermore, his alleged acts are not relevant to either form of govt. Finally- I’m not “endorsing” what he may have done- I’m calling you out for your illogical arguments and complete ignorance of history.
December 12, 2024 at 12:50 PM
So much wrong about your post. It’s as if you don’t know what words actually mean.
