Yeah, so much of creative success is luck. That post is awesome and I'm glad those devs did well, but there are many more unsuccessful or lesser known projects that are not getting screencapped and passed around. We're so fascinated with black swans that we can forget what they are.

I agree that exhaustive analysis before reaching an endpoint can lead to misinterpretation. But it's also fair enough if people decide a work's process of doing that set up is failing to deliver in some way for them. The art is about the journey as much as the destination.

Oh man, the OST was one of the strongest contributing factors to the original's mood. Definitely understand how that would affect the experience.

I threw together a small project that functions as a single boss fight with a large cast of characters all trying (and failing) to work together.

Overall a fun Ren'Py exercise. The advanced transform tools in this program are not for the faint of heart, that's for sure.
