I suppose I should probably use this profile, huh? I’m Zephyr, I’m a Hellenic Polytheist and aspiring Daoist. I’m all about crafts that use fiber, primarily knitting and weaving but also spinning, crochet, embroidery, etc. I never used Twitter so I’m still figuring out how things work here.
Somehow, despite the fact I am terrible at it, I am back to quilting. I’m finishing a baby quilt for a coworker and have a pattern for a baby quilt for a different coworker coming in the mail this week.

Shepherds’ Harvest this weekend - got a new batt and a new spindle (my first Turkish spindle) and I’m loving it. This is a new sheep breed from crossing Merino and Rambouillette that is somehow softer than both.

Both swatches look great. Leaning towards the size 5 swatch (right); it was a little small pre blocking but seems to be doing fine post wet block. The yarn is 30% silk 10% alpaca sos shouldn’t spring back like a pure wool would. #knitting #MadamFosterCardi

I’m still queen of the loose women, at least when it comes to #knitting. The pattern called for a size 9 needle; these are on a 5 and 6. 😅 The 6 is perfect right now but I’m blocking them first because the last sweater I made in this yarn grew some after washing.

I never rip back after I knit, but tonight called for it. One whole cable repeat undone so that I can move forward and end up with a better outcome in the end. Something something life lesson here.
