And that's your choice. That's what consumer choice is about. Everyone has different priorities. I'm not sure what's so hard to understand about that.

It makes sense because it gives consumers choice, but I'm sure a C-Suite like Sweeney won't like it 𝘣𝘦𝘤𝘢𝘶𝘴𝘦 it gives consumers choice.

Since EoF launch? Absolutely. The power grind has accelerated greatly. Warlock was buffed to the moon. Howl of the Storm and Behemoth for the first time in 4-5 years is meta. The Pinnacle ops tab actually has shit to do. T5s are being handed out like candy now.

Part of the Allure of consoles is affordability. Going all in one "premium" when people are complaining about cost of goods daily, and the global trade war from an orange idiot is certainly a choice.

The data in their kind of goes hand-in-hand with what was leaked before from the looks of it. Apparently annual expansions have been coming down in sales year over year.

Keeping it real Tracer and Phara are ruining stadium for me especially on console. DPS mains in comp are ignoring counter picking. Playing into a Phara no hitscan isn't fun.

What's sad is I doubt the TWAB is going to address this in a major way though I'd love to be proven wrong. More than likely they'll just copy-pasta the recent tweets and show off the trailers for the new expansion. My fear is that it'll be super tone deaf.

Probably a little of that plus what the guy above said seems the most plausible. Chickens are finally coming home to roost with the layoffs and players are now starting to feel the effects.

i think the real shame in all of this is the death of live action playthroughs on stage. i get why they don't do them anymore, but i always thought that it was cooler than a trailer.

The number of cheaters this time around was crazy for a day 1. with them gone maybe like 200 teams actually cleared Day 1 Desert Perpetual.

Yeah it is. The chance to vote for Bernie or an anti-establishment candidate was in the 2016 election during that primary and then again in 2020(Warren, Buttigieg all good reps). As per usual few showed up and then made lots of noise when they didn't like the end result.

You can cry about oligarchy all you want but without power to change it its just old men shouting at clouds. Wanna change the system? Then you're going to have to pay to play. That's where we're at in 2025. We're here in the first place because too many sit on their hands during election cycles.

This is my one big concern going into the midterms. Many are still stuck on wedges issues and/or ideological purity are gonna let perfect being the enemy of good.
