Sci fantasy is fantasy but make it techy. Like Star wars has beasts but also Androids and robots. Lightsabers are the best example of this: form of old old weapon and new tech.

For the record, I think science fiction should be real science mixed with fiction. Speculative fiction (sci fi based on theories on what science will be like in the future,) is also sci fi.
