That's a good point. It's just odd to me that so many people lack basic empathy. Like you said they can say they did something with little to no opposition because Dems are afraid to take a stance.

Its so frustrating that they don't take a loud stance on this.

Like actually how did we get here, I can't look at any of my local politicians social media posts without seeing rampant transphobia everywhere. Why do these people eat it up. Isn't it obvious that trans people are just trying to survive? Maybe they know and just don't care.
