I still miss my Roger who came to me as a stray cat every day. We lost him march last year to FIP. I did not have the 8000$ needed for medicines. But if i did i would have pais without a second thought

I think if there ever is a conflict beetween real navy powered. It will find basicly all big weapons platforms obsolete.
Too much long range/drone based munitions that big ships are more of a liability than real power projections

Like this thing deserves so much clowning. But Gas Turbine propulsion is very common and also really sensible if you want this thing to do any kind of speed.
But in the era pf drones i seriously think the big ships era is over. Having all tour firepower in one target is not it imo

No modern warships are armoured in any real capacity. Just not worth the weight in the modern combat climate.
Its protection is mostly hit first and if all else fails, counter measures meant to mislead targeting systems. Such as chaff launchers or anti missile weapons
