One UFA down, one more to go (Panarin). Doubt they get anything for Brodz and Sheary. Maybe Quick if he agrees to move.

Not surprised actually…Panarin is more complicated. Not much left of the UFAs…is there a market for Brodz? Doubt if one exists for Sheary. Is Quick willing to move? Could get something for him from a team desperate for goaltending….Ottawa? Edmonton?

Ottawa had a similar choice…forfeit the 21st pick last year in a weak draft or forfeit the 2026 pick. They chose to forfeit the 2026 pick. Looks like they may be forfeiting a top 10 pick in a strong draft. Imagine them winning the lottery 🤦♂️

Makes sense. They’ve been searching for a center since the summer. Even more so since Rossi was traded. Package likely includes 2027 1st, Charlie Stramel (who Drury wanted at the 2023 draft as per rumours)+++ because the market for centers is red hot and Guérin is all in after getting Hughes

Let’s hope that if he plays, he finally does something impressive….his opportunities are running out. Even a big hit, key defensive play…I just want to see him involved/engaged. He looked lost on his last recall

He’s going to have to do something if he plays tomorrow night. If he’s not on the scoreboard, then be noticeable…big hit, defensive play, etc
