As an older dude, I have to warn you that it gets worse. Far worse.

I just bought a 47 liter bin with a 10 year warranty from Costco. I’m now betting that I outlive that warranty.

I’m running Fusion on an older iMac (64GB, 1 TB disk) that works great. Any of the virtualization stacks will need plenty of memory. You should be able to squeeze a few VMs on. mini.

There are far more of us out there than the map suggests. Let’s go people!

I alway blame typos on an overly aggressive spell checker. If that fails, blame it on rouge AI.

I use Apple AirPods 4 with noise cancelling. Probably not a great choice for side sleepers but they do make noise just disappear.

There are also industrial strength -32db earplugs soft foam plugs.

I use them to block out the dogs next door overnight. It’s like stepping into a sound studio - so quiet.
