He turned from military force to his pathetic payoff for succession plan. He's now just having a hissy fit because he's not getting his way. I'm hoping this means that any amount of real pushback will keep him from taking action.

ICE is going to piss enough people off, the U.S. will be lucky to avoid a civil war. I really don't want that but they are now pushing past what people are going to let continue to happen.

Unfortunately, we're stuck hoping European leaders intervene. I'm holding out hope that they will simply because of the location but this is going to be a disaster no matter which way it goes.

I doubt the administration in the U.S. will care that much about a written proclamation alone, if at all. In this age, coming together for a press conference as well would send a stronger message. Hopefully this puts a stop to that particular madness.
