This week includes a variety of updates. Basic main menu. Basic, skippable opening cinematic, new hit-sparks for wall splats, floor splats and sword hits, Knight's healing potions and two new reversal attacks for the Knight, which he starts doing more often as you execute him with your grab.

Last week, I worked on a lot more animations for the knight and how he interacts with Ramsis. Blocking, being hurt, escaping grabs, suffering damage, recovering and healing. The basics of the gameplay are finally all in place.

This week, I've touched up the lighting and started working on more juice for knockback effects. Along the way, I found this bug that I figured I'd share. It straight up turned my 3D knight, 2D!

This week, I worked on lighting, shaders, materials and environments. Worked on making the low-poly assets look smoother.

Status update, I haven't been able to meet my goal to finish the project by Halloween. Life happened, etc. However, progress has continued enough to show a playable pre-alpha: zigtrinity.com/games/projec.... I'm hoping to finish before June 2026.

At this point, I'm able to model, rig and animate characters. Here is my progress report for one of the primary actors of the projects: "the knight". I still ave a lot more to do, but progress is coming along.
