Purple? How can tropical soda be purple? It is a universal principle that tropical drinks must be orange, or possibly red if melons are involved.

I make it a matter of principle to use the German pronunciation of the "W" in "Schweppes".

One could, by a strict technicality, cite the machine's lack of a pedal assembly to answer the question in the negative, instead classifying Fred and Wilma's vehicle as a laufmaschine, draisienne or vélocipède.

I have yet to find company that maintains any interest when I raise this point, sadly.

"Dandy horse" would also pass as permissible parlance for the pedal-less pioneer of pathways past, albeit perchance passé.
