Hm, genuine question I wanted to source to see how most writers feel, and it’s totally okay to be honest btw but I’ve been curious. When it comes to physical zines, would you rather a zine have a low word count but more writer slots or Less writers and a higher word count.

that jayvik shipper shouldnt get removed from the zine for their comments, but for how they did a 180 on the ship because of all the fandom drama some months ago (started drawing for others ships and it was "jayvik? i dont know her") and joined the zine for clout

Something people need to acknowledge is that a large amount of mods don’t care about their zine(s) anymore. Are you really caring about your zine if you’re on 5 or more zines and seen trying to make one or joining one every other week? So many mods check out that moment they get into a zine and expect other people to do the work. They abandon their fellow mods, their contributors, and their supporters. If you don’t want to do a zine, drop or cancel it. It’s sad to see how many zine mods just don’t care about the zines they are on. Look at star rail and genshin zines. Same mods who struggle with their zines taking months to publish and then go on to join more. Stop wasting peoples time.

[Same person who sent that first anon on here] The fact that they're about to enter preorders but the account STILL hasn't been updated is driving me insane. They didn't even update to say they were working on formatting or to introduce contribs or mods. No one knows what's going on behind the scenes here it's been Dead silent. I hope they either advertise the hell out of pre orders or have them open long enough because I don't see what there plans are going forward from here. Plus a few days ago I shot them a message through their support thing and they haven't responded at All. Unless you're a mod or contributor you don't know Anything about this Zine I can't see it getting any profit unless they pull some stuff last minute OR they charge an exorbitant amount for the zine. Which I could kinda see cause the head mod put a zine they managed previously on their personal bigbang and charged almost 100 for something super tiny compared to other zines I've seen.

I'm fucking crying. This is true. Ash sucks as a mod but it's also the mod team's responsibility to let everyone know what's causing delays and what they're doing about it.
Twitter thread by that says "I feel like it's kind of a fandom rite atp to be burned by a zine and I'm definitely going through it right now with the Aggravate zine. The whole apparent situation with their shipping mod aside, the fact that none of the other mods have stepped up to communicate that and the ++ Only reason I'm even aware that theres a situation with shipping is because of a page thats keeping up with zine tea took the time to respond to people asking for updates is just really pathetic."

This write-up is my opinion and my opinion alone and shouldn’t be taken to represent the opinion of any mod team involved or of any contributor. Frankly, I think the mods of Wrioney Zine are doing an excellent job, so I really mean it when I say to please not use this write-up to put pressure on them or harass them in any way, they already have enough to deal with. Having previously worked with Ash on Lumine Anthology for shipping, I was willing to give him the benefit of the doubt regarding his intentions and honesty about the state of each project when the situation first started coming to light. Lumine Anthology had some mishaps—books Ash claimed were lost during an emergency move out of his warehousing location, because of a flood, that had to be reordered; Ash sticking to the deadline I asked him to commit to for shipping by the skin of his neck—but overall the project went fine. Items were packaged securely and beautifully and no major order errors occurred.
