This is how I know that this is going to be a good game.

It is larger and heavier than a Switch. As for games, you need to consider how demanding they are (google "protondb"). The Deck is great if you work within its limitations, not so great if you try to play super-demanding AAA games on it. You can install PC software on it, so good for work too.

I cannot wait to see what new migranes the kids will give to poor, old, pipeless Tohks!

A good but minor example of this: at one point in the story the protagonist is kidnapped by slavers. In the book this happens on sea and the sea is an important thematic element to the first book. In the anime, the slavers use land-ships to avoid to just avoid the sea altogether.

Someone got the assignment to turn the books into a formulaic script. Some understanding of the book happened but not enough to see that Earthsea books work because they defy formula and expectation, it is about challenging your own mythology.

The movie was written by someone who tried to cram multiple Earthsea books into one movie, make them deliver the famous quotes without sufficient emotional context for them and try to rewrite it all to make it nominal sense while actually braking important story stuff.

This is accurate.

BTW, I know fully that you, the comic author that clearly researched the Victorian era for their comic, knows this. I was trying to be informative rather than challenging but I failed in phrasing/wording it that way.

It makes sense as a holdover from Victorian vampires and how that era was obsessed with "womanly virtues" (chief of which of course was virginity). It shows how we change vampires to fit our own sensibilities.

I apologize if this is a bit random but:
In your "Elves and Germanic Mythology" interview you suggested a latin form for the word elves. Could you please provide the word and spelling you suggested? Alvae for plural elves?

Welp, at least she is fully protected (I am assuming that she has a helmet+parts). I am not sure how well she can move with such form-fitting armor and how the padding underneath works.

There are departments in US hospitals with no other task but continuously fight insurance providers to do their job. Doctors are told by insurance companies what they can do. Decades of trying to fix the system in a civil manner failed to make a dent. After this guy? Suddenly claims go through.
