Like, people in Northern and Southern California pronounce cities in THE SAME STATE differently. What are the odds someone from the Outer Rim and someone from a planet 100 million miles away are pronouncing things the same? WE ON EARTH DON’T EVEN ALL PRONOUNCE “URANUS” THE SAME.

I’m going to ask a brain-dead question but we’re supposed to have a system with checks and balances, and ways to fight this. Is there no check/balance and how can it be fought with any sort of expectation that the fight is worth it?
