This Texas A&M scandal should be getting a LOT more attention than it is. If you listen to the recording, it sounds a lot like the student is acting as a Red Guard of the Chinese Cultural Revolution in the 60s and 70s. She says “Trumps laws” and then demands for the teacher to be fired.

One of the consequences of being raised in an environment where only one opinion is permitted is that your “rebellious” personal beliefs are half baked thoughts. It was enough then, but after being independent for so long you begin to be challenged by actual intellects and really discover yourself.
