An Alabamian living in the Pacific Northwest, after a ten-year stint in Salt Lake City. Just doing my part to make the world a better place.
Eleven points in the final quarter? Only 11 points? I’m a 45-year old, 5’8” white guy, and I’d guarantee at least a free throw bucket. Sheesh. 🙄

If you’re an Indiana football fan, I would say you’re damn fortunate NOT to depend on their football program for a personality. They’ve offered so little in my lifetime; I imagine even less in yours.

Past glory? They were in the CFP THIS SEASON! Alabama’s last title was 5 years ago…when was Indiana’s?

Two great seasons out of 130, doesn’t suddenly make Indiana a blue blood, nor does one loss, or two subpar seasons out of 130 make Alabama irrelevant.

Cheat? Ah yes, the thing only perpetual losers say.
January 2, 2026 at 7:07 AM
The guy was years beyond retirement age…how long did you think he was gonna coach?
January 2, 2026 at 7:07 AM
And yet is still one of the best programs. I think you’re just mad that one loss doesn’t change that. Or two four-loss seasons doesn’t change that. Hell, prior to two years ago, Indiana would have killed for 4-loss seasons.
January 2, 2026 at 7:06 AM
The team literally made the CFP this season; that’s still pretty present.

Unlike Indiana, Alabama’s success isn’t fleeting; history clearly illustrates that.
January 2, 2026 at 6:50 AM
Nothing else for you. I’m looking forward to watching Alabama playing in the CFP next season.
January 2, 2026 at 6:49 AM
See? That’s how insufferable YOU are; you don’t even have a dog in the fight, but dive in to criticize a team that your preferred team wasn’t even playing!

I assure you, I’m fine. I’ll wake up tomorrow still proudly saying Roll Tide, because, unlike Indiana, Bama isn’t a shot-n-the-dark program.
January 2, 2026 at 6:47 AM
And you don’t think you’re being that now? Wow.
January 2, 2026 at 6:42 AM
And congrats to Indiana on finding two years of success…out of 100+.

Again, I’ll accept today’s defeat, and keep the history. I’ll sleep just fine tonight.
January 2, 2026 at 6:41 AM
Suck? They made the CFP. They made their conference championship game. Indiana hadn’t done that in my lifetime, so at worst, post-Saban, Alabama’s last two seasons are equal to Indiana’s last 40…minimum.
January 2, 2026 at 6:40 AM
And yet was one of the last 8 teams remaining this season. 🤔

Do you need help with the definition of the term “relevant”?

I’ll take today’s defeat; you can keep the 100+ years of ineptitude.
January 2, 2026 at 6:37 AM
I’ll take things perpetual losers say for $500, Alex.
January 2, 2026 at 6:34 AM
Their status as the program with the second-most losses in college football history brings them down; they require no assistance from me.
January 2, 2026 at 6:32 AM
I love that a fan of the program with the second-most losses in college football history has only this baseless claim to make; to a loser, all winners are “cheaters.”
January 2, 2026 at 6:22 AM
You clearly don’t know Alabama football history. They have won a national championship in every decade, except for two, since 1920.

Alabama has the third-most wins in college football history; how long do you think Bryant and Saban coached there?!? 😂
January 2, 2026 at 6:09 AM
The topic was reality; I merely stated two facts from reality. Today does not erase those facts? Is Indiana, even with today’s one win, suddenly NOT the second-most losing program in college football history? If so, then that only speaks volumes about the team they beat, not who they are.
January 2, 2026 at 5:47 AM
Helluva game!
January 2, 2026 at 4:52 AM
Is that the same reality in which Alabama has over a dozen National Championships, and Indiana has the second-most losses in college football history? That reality?

Oct, 2020, before losing to Biden

Trump said. "Could you imagine if I lose? My whole life, what am I gonna do? I'm gonna say: 'I lost to the worst candidate in the history of politics.' I'm not gonna feel so good. Maybe I'll have to leave the country — I don't know."
