The closest they have come is power suit characters like Tekkaman blade and Iczer. Dragonball chars not being able to breathe in space is an issue. But they also have a game called super heroine chronicle with like magical girls and such.

i understand what you are trying to say but i think they did a terrible job communicating that fact in the story, theres a side quest where you are teaching someone to be a bodyguard that does a better job
