In my first for @thetyee.ca, I talked to experts about the Kananaskis Wildfire Charter that came out of last week's G7 Summit - what it mentions, what it misses, and what it means.
“It’s really positive that the G7 — our prime minister, leaders of other countries — are recognizing wildfire is an issue.”

The leaders’ joint statements included the Kananaskis Wildfire Charter, the first G7 document dedicated to co-ordinating international action on wildfire. Zoe Mason writes.
