It isn't in a AND DON'T YOU FEEL BAD FOR ENJOYING THE FUN ULTRA VIOLENCE way but instead in a more nuanced way that tackles it from a "hey it's a little weird how normalized all of this is both in a metatextual and textual way, huh" perspective that I really dig

Genuinely impressed at how Peacemaker S2 is actually dealing with the violence inherent with the series both on an individual character level with Chris but also in a way that kind of engages with a LOT of Gunn's filmography
