The long, straight, striped ones are from the rebar. She actually wrapped it in a towel so it wouldn't completely shred the skin. Had a short length, "for threats," and a long one, "for promises."
Also yes that is an actual crescent wrench. 30mm iirc. It's name is Connie.

I fucked around a bit just to see what bubbled up for a flag design to start with. It's not great, but it's an example, at least? And it does have the very important characteristic of conveying a (made up, propagandic) narrative, too. Everyone loves symbolism and meaning.
