im 5 years into my first real game and it's not done! my problem is having a full time job too. but ive also done several game jams and worked with other teams

gamemaker games are famously locked to 30 or 60 for this reason. I think undertale has a 30fps lock. Although it might have changed in newer versions of the engine. I've only used Unity for many years which is frame independent as long as you code smart

it sure seemed like it, once i turned it back up to 60 everything seemed to move much faster!

i think it's a gamemaker game? which would mean that's not too surprising. i was kicking myself for all the time spent waiting for crystals though :)
