I can second this. With a spritz of water my v2 hasn’t had any retention issues.

Encore was my first pour over grinder and it is a great workhorse. I upgraded mine to a Fellow Ode 2 and while it does make a more flavorful cup, for starting out the Encore will get you 90% of the way there!
