Trying out House of Necrosis, it just came out this week. It's a Mystery Dungeon crossed with Resident Evil. I was watching dot play it the other day for a few minutes and it seemed really interesting.

Spent the last few days documenting Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer (Super Famicom) and working on setting up a wiki/guide site for it.

The only information you can find about it in English is for the DS version, which is very different.

I really want more people to play this game ...

That's good that they've realized their mistake. I hope it wasn't just a reaction to the backlash, and a real acknowledgement of of the responsibility they have to do better given the size of their platform.

I really do hope people push back. Maybe RA realizes they're wrong, but I think they'll find they've done some pretty irreputable damage.

I don't fault people for taking the "I just want to play games, man ..." stance. But I think it's important to voice your concern, people will have your back.

Speaking real for a moment — it sucks for my friends who legit liked RA. A lot of people found enjoyment and a sense of fulfillment from RA.

Now they have to either make the decision between stopping a hobby they really enjoy, or having to associate with some disgusting people who think this is OK

I'd be lying if I said I wasn't surprised that there is are RetroAchivement sets for ... really objectionable stuff and this is the stance they take.

I never really enjoyed RA in the first place, for unrelated reasons, but I guess I can play the "Thing I already didn't like turned out to evil" card
