Isopropyl makes a good temporary lubricant for silicone-on-silicone (and rubbers too) so I managed to get this inside out and inspect/clean the interior of the mold.

Also got to enjoy playing with it.

Okay, the mold appears to have worked holy fuck.

Just holding this huge knot in my hands, barely able to grasp around it, is so nice.

I've made a test pour to verify my process/molds, and then scaled it up to the size my first customer wants. So far it's rather standard (ecoflex 0-50), but the 3d printing process and designing custom shapes seems to have gone very well. The black print is the positive for making the mold.

Something smooth and with a big knot, but why stop at just one!
