What a ride it’s been—and we’re entering the final stretch! 🚀

Today I’m sending the color edition print files to the printer. From here, they’ll run a proofing process on their end, fine-tune everything, and once we give the greenlight...boom...full production begins. This should be long because we did a lot of that fine tuning during the midnight print file process.

Here’s the big part: once production kicks off, I’ll have just 5 weeks to lock in the final print number. That means we’re nearing the end of pre-orders before everything flips over to stock-only. If you’ve been waiting to grab one, now’s the moment.

Tateishi: Yeah, my thoughts have changed since I met you and became more aware of how people felt. But even when I was at Konami, I didn’t even bother telling anyone I did Mega Man 2. So the fact you came all the way to Japan to tell me these things makes me very happy I worked on the game all those years ago.

OK I will cut some of it. I love all of the bits but they completely wreck the pacing. I'll be making like a minute long Extras video for those, and then maybe one for old trashed stuff from ep3. Maybe ep5?
Actually, it might be worth examining the whole thing and seeing if I can trim off some fat

The video is almost definitely too long. The previous length of 12 minutes would be a sweet spot. I love all of the new ideas. It's when put in the timeline that it starts to drag.
My style of editing is pretty linear and not that abstract, which doesn't help with the repetition.

I alloted myself a break, as your keen eye would have noticed the lack of daily updates. Most of the work I've done this month was during my off days, it's harder to balance this pace with work now. Plus missing the deadline by this much really messed up my morale.
Anyway, I've been thinking..
