I discovered Viking Cruise ships have panoramic webcams. Have been occasionally watching the stream from their ship “Polaris” that was at Antarctica this past week. Amazing scenery with good (solstice) lighting. Also, I think I happened to spot a whale and an albatross (see alt text).

My airplane tracking app says it is taxiing in Albany and that’s the best information I can get.

These are the smallest ones I had to solder. The ruler is in millimeters. I genuinely cannot believe I managed to install these.

WAIT!! It lives!! The button pad is twitchy and there’s a built-in rechargeable battery that supports its “computer” and may need to be fully recharged before the thing works properly. But here it is tuned to an FM station and playing music (will test the other bands later).

I don’t usually add stitches to iron-on patches. But sometimes you gotta go the extra mile. (Though not so far as to match thread colors or do a particularly good job.)
This is on a hoodie and has now been through the wash a dozen times without falling apart.
