I would not be fighting this hard if I weren’t innocent more than a week later, to the point I’m willing to concede to an account warning, losing sojourner and whatever else is required to get my account back!

even for my own account, they just… stopped replying. So a person unrelated was dragged into the emails 3 times, the responses were unhelpful, only eventually replying after a LOT of pressure was applied. Just a massive mess

How Niantic aren’t making data available to me (and legally couldn’t, because I’m not multi accounting the accounts dont belong to me, which means legally the data could not be sent to me regarding the alleged accounts as this would be in breach of the General Data Protection Regulation)

Anyway folk suggested contacting you again because all we can do is hope to get this resolved, instead of ignored. the waters were muddied with 3 emails with the wrong persons username,

to continue helping with recharge rooms as I wanted to help RES agents on the ground whether I got a badge or not for the event, continuing submitting and creating portals, continue taking part in Scottish events (FS/SS/MD/Shards), continue creating missions, continue reviewing on OPR.

like I’d have accepted an account warning and lost sojourner (2,039 days) to just get my account back! I just want to continue contributing to the Scottish RES community by recharging any portal keys donated to me by other agents (they’d regularly donate caps of hypers to keep everything charged)

I’ve been nothing but polite and patient, I’m just trying to actually speak to a human being and figure out this mess and why I’ve been instant banned. I’ve put a near decade into ingress and I’m genuinely depressed I can’t even fight this

& are puzzled why this gets an instant ban and no unban when so many obvious & repeated, griefing multi-accounters get warnings and suspensions. Like even spoofers don’t get banned, but me and my partner have been. Also puzzled as to why Niantic are just outright refusing to even reply to me at all

throwing anything at the wall at the moment to just prove I’m a good player and upset over the termination, hence fighting so hard to just be heard and get my account back

Any help would be appreciated! Unsure how to prove I haven’t done anything but folk did ask if I’d used VPNs when reviewing on OPR (I do), and how bad my GPS drift is (I’m surrounded by granite buildings, I don’t interact with portals but it does ping me down the river a lot)

Hello! Yes it was through the contact form above (Ingress support ticket, 29452). I responded to the message I got within minutes explaining at length that I haven’t done anything, and only ever got the exact same response

@brianrose.bsky.social i don’t mean to be pushy or keep spamming but I’ve been a dedicated player for near a decade, made lots of progress, spent lots of money and made loads of friends and connections through ingress and never done anything to warrant a termination :(

This is the sort if thing I like to do in ingress, I enjoy exploring remote parts of my country and finding interesting points of interest for portal submissions, my seer badge is 1320 and is one of my main contributions in game! That and local play, thanks @brianrose.bsky.social

So again, I don’t know what’s triggered this, but my support ticket got a standard “we can’t help you” after mere minutes. it’s disheartening, I don’t know how else to prove innocence at this point.
