It’s been noted in the show, and I think it’s a symptom of Carol’s trauma, both before/after The Event, but I’m lightly surprised at how non-curious she is about the unified people.

And it feels more like talents and skills are shared, but individual personalities are subsumed to an average of kindness/niceness. “Individuals” appear to not really be a thing anymore. Perhaps that will be a developing conflict moving forward.
(Because at some point, something has to happen!)

I’m actually surprised that the collective hasn’t sent someone who is a bit more therapy-like to her. Not that she’s in a head space to talk to that person honestly, as Carol so far doesn’t seem (in her own words) like a person who opens up to others…

Just watched ep3 this evening. Seems the alien takeover of Earth (and the death of her spouse) really brings out Carlo’s already downer personality… Alcohol also helps! (And she’s on medications for… something?)
