I've been told by people who are 5, 8, 10 years along they still feel like that so I guess I was a bit presumptuous.

I guess I'm just now more aware and trying to wiggle out of that part of me that is still embarassed about my gender identity and was very reserved about it to avoid backlash and now I'm trying to make up for it.
