I make videos on games. Original!

I like MMBN a normal amount, Falcom has rotted my brain, and I try to like TCGs even when their owners don't want me to!

Unironically, yes. Hell, I'd be down for basically *all* of the Shinemon arc original bosses to get encounters in time. I'm VERY biased towards Hanzo and Malkuth.

But if they led off by doing a similar thing to the Aichi/Kai decks for Shinemon and Esuka, I'd be so down for that.

Like, we get a few encounters in the anime in-between sets, and we don't even get Stride decks anymore, and that's it.

I think that's become a reasonable way to slowly dripfeed older era decks while still making the more upfront pandering for milestone years with the old MCs feel special.

Oh yeah, their messaging was abysmal on top of how little CFV was present in its own section outside the Aichi/Kai starters.

I'm also to the point that the ratio of new to old Vanguard rep has been stable for so long that them pandering pre-D nostalgia heavily now doesn't feel nearly as egregious.

Basically every instance of strong starter product with a long lifespan releasing has been followed by people bitching about them being broken and overpowered.

And then when they reel in their power, people bitch about how they aren't a good entry point.

You just can't please Vanguard players lol

Doomposting about the new Kai starter deck being all kinds of busted DE nostalgia slop, mainly.

With a touch of performative venom for people who want the 15th Anniversary to feel like a proper celebration for good measure.

Oh, I'm not gonna pretend they don't still have me too, for better or worse. There are just some times when I can't handle *certain* subsections of the community on *top* of the company's dirty laundry, and today was absolutely one of those days.

Alright, think I've landed on quickly blitzing a fresh Very Easy run on my own to catch up to my Switch file, and then the *Nightmare* NG+ run will be the stream one.
