... This raises the question of who the great political leaders of the past century were. Under this theory most of the usual candidates (Churchill or whatever) probably wouldn't qualify. Who would, if anyone? And is this the right view? Is there such a thing as a great political leader? Maybe not.

But that's already the case in human society. We are already deeply responsible for and dependent on one another. It is only under a hyper-individualist ideology that this fact becomes hidden from us. Or maybe not, I don't know. And yes, I do have a kid.

What works for me is youtube or any kind of video resource, it really helps to see what the cooking process is supposed to look like. I think Epicurious has nice beginner videos
