Started Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 yesterday. Switched the audio to French and left the subtitles in English and my wife now sits and watches me play. Only in Act 1, but so far really enjoying it.

South of Midnight was a very atmospheric action/adventure romp through the south. Enjoyed the story, the music was amazing, combat was a bit repetitive the longer the game went. Had to really earn the no-damage boss fight achievements. Game Pass = Easy recommend!

DOOM: The Dark Ages is an amazing time as the Slayer! The combat is frenetic, so many guns and upgrades to try. The shield is awesome and adds to the combat. Pity that the Berserker achievement is buggy, hopefully it gets patched. Recommend it! Even if DOOM Eternal didn’t grab you, this one will!

Thoroughly enjoyed running around Japan as a Shinobi and a Samurai. Lots of story to wade through, lots of side quests to distract. Looking forward to the inevitable DLC.

It has been six weeks since Shep joined our family. He is fitting in great. He and Lola get along well, have similar energy, and play great with each other. We got his DNA tested to find out what sort of super-mutt he is. We expected Lab and Border Collie, surprised by German Shepherd. 100% good boy

Completed Indiana Jones and the Great Circle! Made me feel like I was in an Indy movie. Loved the story, loved the gameplay, hated the maps and backtracking for 100% (also glitched Archivist achievement, but found a workaround). Go enjoy this one!

3 weeks ago we adopted a second dog, Shep, from the Humane Society. We are once again learning a new personality with Shep, while Lola is happy to have a sibling to play with. Shep likes the car and got to travel for the Christmas holidays and meet the family.

We are closing in on 3 years since we adopted Lola. She has her routine and constantly reminds the family what time it is (food, walk, cuddle). She's figured out chasing a ball is pretty fun too and we do that in the park or at the beach when we can take her off leash.
