The explanation that ZYX failed XJP w/ trg is such a poor analysis, ZYX believes XJP is a danger to the CCP's stability, and once the CCP falls, the PLA won't exist anymore. They just need to find something under the sun to nail it on ZYX after Venezuela's internal collaborative coup rattled XJP.

Historically, CCP chairmen never spent such a significant amount of effort to purge one's own military. In the post Deng era, Jiang allowed the PLA to have their own freedom to a certain degree. Hu never controlled the PLA. It's ridiculous to believe XJP is still purging Jiang's people.

Also, someone has been screwing Xi's loyal lieutenants through corruption allegations, it was mostly likely Zhang, to supplement the PLA w/ his own men. Notice none of the replaced CMC vice cadres had a successor.

The so-called difference is merely a phenomenon of his loyalty to CCP rather than failing to meet XJP's desire. Xi's position within the standing committee eroded significantly fol capital exodus and RE collapse, tech, etc. ZYX's story w/ XJP is a factional rivalry, hoping Xi to step down, no coup.

What's wrong with medals, they just didn't want one of their own to marry a divorced black woman. It is pretty common amongst racial based partner selection. I guess rooting for the black sheep makes you feel empowered.
