Can relate… 😅 the cool thing is that when I started cutting sugars in general (except nutritious fruit) from my diet it got a lot better. Not easy, but I highly recommend it if you’re able to 🙏

So… turns out this exact gcode also works really well with PLA haha which in a way makes sense considering the similarities to CoPE, but also contradicts my previous experiments with PLA and 0.1mm nozzles.

Update: PVB heat creeped and clogged the nozzle 🥲 Back to CoPE we go, it just prints so well… I’ll figure the PEI situation later

(More reasons for PVB:
- my favourite filament for details is actually Polymaker’s CoPE, but that thing sticks to PEI like super glue with tiny nozzles
- PLA kinda clumps/blobs up with tiny nozzles
- haven’t tried ABS/ASA with tiny nozzles
- PETG has a tendency to stick to the nozzles)

First test went great! 8x8x3mm disc in vase mode with Sunlu PVB. (Using PVB specifically because if I get a clog I can just dump it in isopropyl alcohol lol)

Update: yep, copper layer flaked off. I’ll have to degrease it better next time. Hopefully that fixes it

Still got a lot of slicer tuning to do, but initial results are promising! 🤩 (sorry about the blurry photo, it’s an 8x8x3mm disc in vase mode. But it should give you somewhat of an idea 👀)
