Yaw Yeboah was signed this offseason by acquiring his rights from San Diego FC. Yaw saw a decrease in his playing time last season for the Crew. He was competing against Arfsten and DeJuan for minutes. He likes to get the ball up the field quick and this LAFC is all about quick transition soccer.

Even with these signings, they'll be missing one of the best players in the league, Riqui Puig. Riqui is out with an ACL injury and it could be very late into the season in which he might come back. His numbers were fantastic.

They have done well in bringing in some new signings like Zanka (CB), a few younger players in Lucas Sanabria (CM) and Elijah Wynder (CM). Christian Ramirez (FW) joins the team from the Columbus Crew.

Christian will be Dejan's replacement and will provide some important versatility in that role.

After their MLS Cup win, the Galaxy had to tear down important bits of their roster due to salary cap limitations. Players that performed in the final like Dejan and Gaston were traded to other MLS teams. Jalen Neal and Marco Delgado were also let go.

Brooks Lennon was one of Atlanta’s best player's in 2024. He suffered an injury that can rule him out for the first 2 months of this season. The former Liverpool graduate was Atlanta's assist leader. His offensive output for Atlanta last season was in the top 90th percentile in the league.

For £22.5m, the 5-Stripes broke the MLS transfer record. Latte Lath was Middlesbrough’s FC top goalscorer so far into the season. Latte is also a Republic of Côte d’Ivoire National Team player, having debuted in June for a World Cup qualifier. Latte is known for his pace and rapid runs in behind.

Under Pineda's last season, they were undefeated when they had less possession. When Atlanta had more position than the opposing team, their record was (1 W, 3 T, 8L). They also under-performed in goals scored with 10 goals in 4 games (less possession) compared to 12 in 12 games (more possession).

Morris took over as the starting FW and had more consistent success finding the back of the net after making that change from LW.

Compared to the summer and fall fixtures, Seattle struggled a bit at the beginning. They had 2 wins in 10 games and went scoreless for four fixtures. From mid June till the end of the regular season, Seattle was tied with Columbus and Inter Miami for most points accumulated.
