feels like a lot of my writers block is because a lot of my ideas inherently suck. the issue is that while I'm confident my ideas are bad, I couldn't tell you why they are bad, just that they are bad

trying a new method of reading and that is reading while writing the book out. churned 5248 words from "norwegian wood" with this process, and it might help as a dopamine thing so I'm not just staring at an e-book with some nature ambience in my headset

hitting a new low as of late with writing. genuinely considering quitting the medium because everything I push out is awful drek that is barely readable or worse, maddingly offensive and completely reeks of unintelligent "hurr durr I'm 14 and diz iz deep" bollocks

focusing on other things as of late: detours from my manuscript, playing games I used to play or games I'm new to, extra writing on the side, might even tell my friends about one of my ideas so we can band together and do something to fill the gap

finished act 2 of one of my stories like yesterday. I'd have started writing out act 3 today but the process of drafting has completely mushed my goddamn brain to the point where I just lost all resemblance of coherency dog

horrible itching the past two days. gonna overdose on aloe vera until I get results.

writing update: took a while to get back in a groove after reorganizing my sleep schedule, but I churned out a 36 page, 8.9k word scene that isn't related to any of my major projects, but at least I did something

think I've just grown exhausted and tired of writing, well, anything anymore. I can't even bring myself to open up a book and read anything, can't punch up google docs and punch in words to continue all of my stories, can't do anything anymore. just kinda sitting around, moping and sleeping all day

tfw you realize just where you went wrong with your story (half of my characters don't even have a core urge, spazzed the fuck out when I realized that I couldn't figure it out)
