That's the emblem of the Union Street Railway. You can use this photo to create your own decals in N scale for your Electromobile. Mine is in 0 scale is has a destination sign for Moonrise Kingdom since I really enjoy that movie and it was filmed in the area.

It also amuses me that the last new trolleys purchased, the Osgood Bradley Electromobiles (which arrived under their own power from Worcester), are called both Electromobiles and “Master Units” in the book. A different builder, Brill, built the Master Unit. There’s only a vague resemblance!

Also the bit where when Boston was retiring trolleys because the LRVs were displacing them, a group in New Bedford called Trolley Inc got one and painted it to promote a tourist line that never happened, and it was eventually scrapped

The New Bedford Electromobile, built 1930 for the streetcar system in New Bedford. Close cousins of the Scranton/Altoona Electromobiles, with longer platforms and classic streetcar bumpers. HO (1:87) model. When New Bedford closed 1949, they were transferred to New York's Queensborough Bridge line

Peut-on alors dire en 2024 qu'une Tesla est une "grocumobile" ?
