We're going to try out an experimental change in order to increase game speed and clarity: Team-Up cards will now have a black border.

The REAL final daily 100 Odd Cards development post, the rulesheet! Three conveniently easy to draw FPs show off how to play the game in the main side, while an assorted group of OCs messes around in the Tips & Tricks section.
Ok now for actual real the daily posts are over.

I had an impromptu playtest today. There are a few small immediate changes but I'm still gonna run the game As It Is for test groups in order to get accurate feedback. Anyways, here's the tentative design of the card back and the fabled Rule Coin.

And here we have the final two card designs! These characters have not been seen publicly yet, making this their debut in the some fool canon.
But I'm not done with this quite yet! Tomorrow I'll be sharing two more things, and after that the rulesheet.

Penultimate day, with these two!! And that concludes designing the 20 Flip cards.
Fun fact, Anjellyna's background finishes the last background reference to previous 100 OCs challenges.

The final effect name, Expire! It's the twin effect of Perish. I also finished making all of the cards without any effect! We've only two days to go before I finish making the card designs and start printing.

A lot of non-100 OCs (2018) 2018 OCs this time around huh? It's really fun to redraw them.
Turns out I didn't do any of the no-effect -3 cards. Here they are, both of 'em.

A couple of cards with the -1 value, and fairly obscure characters who did not appear in 100 OCs 2022. Originally, Teri's card was planned to show a photo of a sculpture of her I did in 2018, but I have not been able to retrieve it.

Perish is one of the last pair of twin attacking effects. Its target must discard the card that has been in their win pile the longest. This of course means that it could potentially go back into the deck.

Rounding out the last of the Magnet cards with these ghostly not-sisters. Oooo spooky.
(Yes, Stretch fits the sticky theme that the other Magnet cards have.)

A lot of these new arts are direct references and remakes to old art of these characters. It's a nice bonus, but primarily they make for really funny nonsequiturs.

We are a mere 20 cards / 10 days from finishing off the card designs, but I will also take a couple of additional days whilst I print these for test runs to to make the cardbacks, the rule coin and other stuffs I need to take care of to Actually Make This A Thing!

Introducing the final card with the value of 0, with the effect "Many"!
Not only do you count each card you play twice in terms of what their score value is, but their effect occurs twice!

Quick thing: The description for "Steal" has been updated because of unclear, interpretable wording (last effect -> latest effect). Anyways Blanche and Maché's turn! Such a mess... Blanche could REALLY use a flat cat or something.

Introducing the first of the second set of twin attacks: "Kick Me"! It acts as a sort of mega-Magnet/Steal, making it so that any red effects during the next round will have the person subject to this attack as their target. It's mean... and funny.

All cards with the Lucky effect have been designed! <3
Although these two use reused art, Clover in particular was a mess to get: I could not find her original files! I still had her as my DevianTart icon... but the compression made the pixel ratio uneven and I had to restore it.

Something simple today. The two other instances of Gift.

Here we have Nuh-uh's twin effect, Deny. As mentioned previously, it is at a positive value, making it more tempting to use when the rule coin starts out positive. I should remind, however, that Gift can be used to switch it to target the previous player instead.

More green card designs today. Since Flip had to appear so many times, the reasoning between of why a character was chosen to have it is usually not as well-thought out as with other effects. However, Hamburgirl was one I had no doubt needed to have Flip.

Three out of the four Steal cards have now been designed! Their spread is -4, -3, -2, -1. Generally, if an effect will target anyone who went before you, you'll find it in Negative values, and if it targets players after you, it'll be positive.

A couple more Flip cards. Drawing a lot of these 100 OCs (2018) characters but now is quite surreal, my character design principles have changed a lot.
And I wish I had thought longer about the names some of these have.

Today I'll be introducing the first of 6 "attacking" red effects. They all come in pairs, one targeting "the next player" and one targeting "the previous player". Here we have Nuh-uh! This effect will stop the player who went before you from drawing new cards.

Remember a while when I mentioned Reflect had specific interactions with certain yellow effects? It's these two! They grant an additional +2 or -2 to all players, but if reflected, that extra score goes to their players. They are a bit hard to use but can be useful!
