oh man the four-year anniversary snuck up on me
post from me february 24th, 2020: I understand the danger of panic and wear my public health wheelhouse on my sleeve and for that reason I'm trying hard to refrain from speaking in any way that could be read as authoritatively about the coronavirus situation below is a an animated gif from the Simpsons featuring Newscaster Kent Brockman interviewing a professor. The captioning reads: "So, professor, would you say it's time for everyone to panic?" "Yes, I would, Kent." two more posts of mine from the same thread. The first one reads, "Hashtag #1918vibes" the second one reads, "also this administration seems genuinely poised to have the Worst public health response to an epidemic of any American administration of my entire lifetime and yes, I specifically mean including that one." I was correct on all counts.
