It's that magic. When you're in the air with the drone and you see that the light is right, that the mood is exactly what you wanted. Then the perfect picture is just a click away. Just like here on Lake Lucerne.

This is a photograph of a modern playground structure on a cloudy day. The structure is made of green and blue metal and features a slide, a climbing wall, and a curved, arched bridge that dominates the top of the frame. The ground is covered in wood chips, and in the background, there's a paved area with a basketball hoop and a path leading into a grassy field with trees. The sky is partly cloudy and bright.

The great west window of Winchester cathedral. The original window was destroyed in 1642, the citizens of Winchester gathered the pieces and constructed a multicolor mosaic in its place.

This image captures a scenic river valley surrounded by forested mountains under a bright blue sky with scattered clouds. A winding road and railway follow the river’s edge on the left, while rocky terrain and patches of green vegetation frame the foreground.

This VR photo was taken at the east end of the Columbia River Gorge, where the river cuts through the Cascade mountain range. The viewpoint is on I-84, just west of Hood River. One can hike to the top of the point where the view is probably even more spectacular, but this was taken from a ledge just a short scramble above the parking lot (and the normal viewing area). This picture was used as my "Best of 2010" entry on the Worldwide Panorama. (https://worldwidepanorama.org/wwp1210/JimCole-6587.html)

The Columbia River Gorge is a spectacular area full of waterfalls, hiking trails, museums, and many other points of interest. It bridges the very green west sides of Oregon and Washington, with the dry eastern sides. One of the most spectacular waterfalls in the Gorge is Multnomah Falls, the subject of my first WWP post.
