Week 36/52: This week's prompt from the 52Frames weekly photo challenge: Shoot From Above.

The corner of a patch of grass combined with the patterned sidewalk caught my eye on a morning walk.

Week #36 of 52Frames: Shoot From Above!

Bare feet on asphalt, shadow stretched with camera in hand; a self-portrait from above, where presence is defined by absence and light shapes identity.

@52frames - shoot from above / “homebound” on approach for a landing at BWI, with a great view of downtown Baltimore in the distance. #52frames #52frames_shootfromabove #52frames_phonephotographers #52frames_photographers #southwestairlines #bwi #baltimore

This week’s 52 Frames challenge is “Shoot from Above”. I took these photos from my office in Oklahoma City. I hoped the stairwell shot would show the gap between stairs from my floor (16) to the ground floor, but the gap was too small to show that effect. #52Frames_shootfromabove #photography #nikon

#52frames_shootfromabove brought me to the top of a local parking garage, where I captured this image of the sun bouncing off the windows onto the alley below.

52Frames: Shoot From Above - Toot My Own Horn.

I don't know what about "shoot from above" made me think of a bean mosaic, but here we are. The beans are cranberry beans, yellow-eyed peas, calypso beans, red lentils, black beans, and Peruvian mayocoba beans.

This week’s 52 Frame challenge is to take a photo from an elevated perspective — looking down at your subject. Shot looking down into the large exhibit area at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. #52Frames_shootfromabove

Drone shot of the Metra platforms at the Aurora Transportation Center, Aurora, IL. Clouds made the lighting fast-changing and uneven.

My #52frames_shootfromabove attempts for this week. I had a hard time finding a high enough vantage point to make this challenge really work.

This week's #52Frames challenge: Shoot from above.

This is through the viewfinder of an antique #Voigtländer Brillant box camera, long before SLRs, where the camera was held at hip level and the photographer looked down into the viewfinder window.
