　アブダビ自律運転レーシング・リーグ（A2RL）が、第2シーズンを迎える。マシンの進歩、先進技術の進化、スリル……あらゆる面で初年度から大きく一歩を踏み出し、これまでの実績をさらに発展させることを目指している。<br>　A2RLは、2024年に立ち上げられた自律運転レースのシリーズである。マシンはEAV-25であり、スーパーフォーミュラの現役マシンSF-23をベースに開発されたもの。しかしドライバーの代わりにセンサーやLiDAR、レーダーなどが搭載され、人間がステアリングを握ることなく、レースを繰り広げることの実現が目指されている。<br>　2025年のA2RLは、今年初開催となるアブダビ・オートノマス・ウィークの一環として開催される。そのため、コース内外で限界に挑むことになる。ASPIRE（A2RLの主催者であり、UAE政府の先端技術研究評議会の一部）のCEOを務めるステファン・ティンパノ氏は説明する。<br>「今年は全く異なる状況だ」<br>　ティンパノCEOは語った。<br>「チームは1年目よりもずっと長い期間、トレーニングを重ねてきた。昨年参戦した全チームも、その姿勢を改めて示している。そして日本から参戦するTGMグランプリは、既にスーパーフォーミュラのレースチームとして確固たる地位を築いている。だから彼らは、このレースを科学実験ではなく、レースとして捉えているんだ」<br>関連ニュース:<br><br><br>スーパーフォーミュラTGM
