I have an over addiction to podcasts, so I'm not against the audio medium & I'm not kicking anyone out of bookclub because they read the audiobook. I'm just saying they're not the same & we should still encourage people to read.

When gambling becomes easily available, addiction rates naturally climb. I've seen estimate for Nevada of addiction rates of between 3 and 5 percent, depending on how you measure it.

I actually tried this in 2020 but for various reasons ended up going back to cigarettes and my cigarette intake nearly doubled because drawing a big drag off my vape every ten minutes affected my addiction timer.
I quit cold turkey a year ago and thats the only way I found to do it right.

I love being addicted to things. My brain craves the chemicals. And this is why "here is a USB stick we've filled with exactly the chemicals your brain desires" throws up some big red flags for me.
I am a Luddite but for the chemicals I choose to flirt with addiction with.

vapes deliver a lot more nicotine, and lack any of the self-limiting aspects of smoking... with cigarettes I would get up from my computer and go outside to smoke, and if I smoked more than a half pack a day my throat would feel awful. With vapes the only limiting factor is the addiction.
