Believe it or not I didn’t ask Morrigan for a play-by-play of her night with Alistair.” A sharp gust, a gasp, and the crashing of a vase from inside the fortress seem to echo in Lisbeth’s ears. “I’ll kill him, or her or both if you want.” Lisbeth reaches out and puts a comforting hand on Alma’s shoulder, “I appreciate the offer, but trust me when I say that’s not necessary. I asked him to do it.”

Alma curled over Varric’s body, she’s putting the pieces together and remembering. She’s remembering that he died at the ritual site. Varric and Alma turned away from us and looking at the portal out of the Fade. Varric’s bed is empty, as it has always been. This time Alma sees his jacket and the book of The Inquisition. Pieces of Bianca on the table. Alma says, “I know where to find you if I need you. Goodbye Varric.”
